Plainfield, Richard S. Boule, 69, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington.

Richard attended Bethel area schools. Following his education he served in the U.S. Army. After his discharge from the service, he returned home to Bethel where he worked as a carpenter in the area. He was also an auctioneer and antiques dealer. He was married to Patricia Holler March 26, 1983 in Stockbridge. His hobbies included traveling, driving the back roads of Vermont and antiques.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Boule of Plainfield, his mother Agnes Boule of Bethel, 2 sons; Marty Lee Tatro of Montpelier and Andrew Ryan Boule of Plainfield, a brother Kenneth Boule of Bethel, a sister Virginia Brown of Stockbridge and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 step-daughters; Stephanie Payne and Jennifer Payne Berry, his father and 2 brothers; Raymond and Arthur Boule.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 5th at the Day Funeral Home, Randolph with Pastor David Sanville officiating. There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd.,, Bethesda, MD 20814 or to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Ln., Williston, VT 05495.
