The following is a list of choices which represent the cost of our services. They may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. You are in no way limited to these service options. You may itemize services in order to select only those which are right for you.

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; dressing and casketing remains; calling hours (at the Funeral Home); use of staff, facilities or equipment for funeral ceremony held at funeral home or other location; hearse; utility vehicle; and transfer of remains to the funeral home. Does not include cemetery or crematory charges, State and/or Medical Examiner Cremation Permit fees, clergy or musician gratuities, hairdresser charge, printed memorial folders, register book, mileage beyond 20 mile radius, second period of calling hours, calling hours held somewhere other than the funeral home, cremation casket, urn or burial vault for urn.
MEMORIAL SERVICES held at Funeral Home, Church or Graveside held without body present	$2,980.00

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; washing and dressing unembalmed remains; use of staff, facilities, or equipment for memorial service held at funeral home, church, or graveside; flower car/service vehicle; and transfer of remains to the funeral home. Includes committal service at local cemetery, one period of memorial calling hours (only urn is present instead of casketed remains) if held at the funeral home. Does not include crematory or cemetery charges, State and/or Medical Examiner permit fees, clergy or musician gratuities, printed memorial folders, register book, mileage beyond 20 mile radius, calling hours if held at some location other than the funeral home, cremation casket, urn or urn vault.
SIMPLE CREMATION PERFORMED PROMPTLY AT NEARBY CREMATORY with no service	$1,545.00

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff to assure proper identification of remains throughout process; washing and dressing unembalmed remains; private viewing of remains for family, transfer of remains to the funeral home (from within 20 mile radius), transportation to nearby crematory, and crematory charge. Crematory requires that remains arrive in a rigid container, which is not included. If provided by Day's, the minimum cremation casket costs $100, with other options available. State and/or Medical Examiner Cremation Permit Fees not included. Day's assigns a uniquely numbered Stainless Steel disc that accompanies the remains throughout the process to assure the integrity of their identification. Does not include Day's involvement in services of any kind.
BODY DONATION to University of Vermont or Dartmouth Medical School	$895.00

Includes 24 hour removal of remains from place of death (within 20 mile radius of funeral home), care of remains until paperwork in order and remains accepted by medical school, completion of death certificate and permit, transportation to either University of Vermont or Dartmouth Medical School. Family viewing of remains at funeral home within time frame allowed by medical school guidelines. Does not include any rites or ceremonies. Cremation is performed by the medical school, and is not provided by Day's.
